Well, I know I shouldn’t be writing this as I know perfectly well that my only reason for writing this is because I feel I should, seeing as it’s been just over two weeks since my last post. This inevitably means that the post is going to be, somewhat, boring / random and the like.

Well, just finished another week’s safari, with another week of Russians. Gotta love ‘em.
This group was actually a lot of fun to have around and very easy to look after. The technical side of things was pretty much a different matter but I can’t be arsed winding myself up by going back through it all now. I’d rather let it fester in the cess pool of my mind for longer.

Well, I just got out the water after finishing the third dive of the day and found out that there’s been 3 bombs up in Dahab in Sinai. That’s quite a long way from where I am but, regardless, it’s still in Egypt, and it’s still another bombing, by all accounts in another tourist area.

So here’s the deal.

The other night I was drunk and talking to a guest we had on the boat about LANs and the like, and the large scale ones that he was taking part in. I carried on drinking a bit and got to thinking about this and realized I hadn’t been to a LAN party in a long time, let alone visited one abroad.

And then, like a vision from above, it hit me. LAN Tour 2007. A European road-trip stopping off at various LAN parties throughout the tour. If people also wanted, even take a server box along and provide LANRadio for the larger LAN events. Just like the Blues Brothers, it’s a Mission from God…

Having recently finished the Johnny Cash biography, /The Man Called Cash/ atop general musing on my part, I think I’ve finally come to acknowledge the sheer significance of music in all its forms on me and my life in general. Well, been meaning to write this for a while, can’t remember exactly how long, but since the first time I was watching the film /Wicked Weapon/. For those unaware, this is a film starring the lovely Jenna Jameson amongst others, except this version I have is in French, therefore it is art.
